A 35% VLT (Visible Light Transmission) card is a business card-sized tool used by police, window tinters, and vehicle inspectors to quickly check if car window tint is lighter or darker than the 35% limit. In New Zealand, 35% is the darkest legal tint allowed for driver and passenger front side windows.
